The Role We're looking for a sharp, experienced
Service Technician to join our team. You'll maintain and troubleshoot electronic security systems (video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, intercoms, etc.) for commercial clients who count on us.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair access control, video surveillance, intercom, and intrusion systems
- Provide prompt, professional service with clear communication to customers and team members
- Document your work accurately via service tickets and timesheets
- Maintain safety standards on every job site (OSHA compliance required)
- Stay current on industry certifications and technology
- Represent Pro-Tec with professionalism and accountability
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of field service experience in low-voltage/security systems
- Minnesota Power Limited Technician (PLT) license
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read system diagrams and technical documents
- Familiarity with computers, IP networks, and system programming
- Valid driver's license, clean record, and ability to maintain DOT medical card
- Must pass BCA background check and drug screening
Bonus Points For
- Experience with systems like Lenel, AMAG, DSX, ProWatch, Feenics, Brivo, Genea, Verkada, Milestone, Exacq, Avigilon, or similar
- Basic networking and Windows OS experience
- Manufacturer certifications (a major plus)

Salary: $42.99 - $47.73 per hour
