Help Us Build Something Exponential
At The Access Control Collective (TACC), we believe a great community isn’t just a network, it’s a movement. We’re bringing together a global group of physical security professionals who want to connect, share ideas, and grow together.
The PhySec Collective, which grew out of the Access Control Executive Brief via Slack and is part of the broader TACC network, is where this movement comes to life. It thrives online and extends into in-person events, meetups, and experiences that spark collaboration and belonging.
Now, we’re looking for a Community Evangelist to lead and grow The PhySec Collective.
This is your chance to be the connector who ensures members feel heard, supported, and inspired every day. You’ll be the voice of the community, the architect of engagement, and the person who turns connections into real impact.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the trusted point of contact and champion for The PhySec Collective members as part of the TACC network.
- Oversee the administration of The PhySec Collective online community platforms (including CMS and member tools) to ensure they run smoothly, stay up-to-date, and deliver a high-quality member experience.
- Manage and moderate online spaces, including social media, so they are welcoming, active, and valuable.
- Design and implement creative ways to engage, connect, and inspire community members online and offline.
- Plan, host, and attend events that bring the community together.
- Collect, analyze, and report on community engagement data and platform performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Actively share community insights with TACC leadership to influence strategy and direction.
- Foster growth: attract new members, deepen participation, and strengthen long-term loyalty.
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in community management, marketing, or a related field.
- A passion for people: you love connecting, listening, and building relationships.
- Outstanding communication skills: you’re clear, empathetic, and adaptable to different audiences.
- Experience managing online platforms, CMS tools, and digital communities, plus familiarity with live event planning.
- Strong interest in social media strategy and its role in growing and sustaining communities.
- Comfort with tracking metrics, analyzing performance, and presenting reports to stakeholders.
- A proactive, resourceful mindset. You take initiative, problem-solve, and work independently.
- A customer-first perspective: you understand that thriving communities are built by putting people at the center.
- Willingness and ability to travel for events and meetups as needed.
Why You’ll Love It Here
- You’ll shape the future of The PhySec Community, a cornerstone of the TACC network.
- You’ll get to blend online engagement with in-person experiences.
- You’ll have the freedom to experiment, create, and bring new ideas to life.
- Most importantly, your work will matter. Members will look to you as the person who makes this community thrive.
If you’re ready to take ownership, build something meaningful, and connect security professionals around the world, this is your opportunity.
