Astra Surveying is a land surveying service working throughout Florida specializing mostly in construction. We are currently looking to fill a Surveyor position in the New Mexico area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Stakeout support at survey construction sites.
Prepare and analyze data using mapping and construction plans.
Perform manual labor related to surveying needs, such as cutting brush for lines, carrying stakes, and/or pins and right of way markers delineate features of all phase's construction project.
Maintain survey equipment (Survey grade GPS, robotic stations, Trimble equipment).
Gather and maintain as-built information.
Stock survey vehicles with proper amount of supplies.
Function as part of a survey team, willing to follow detailed instructions.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have high school diploma.
Self-motivated. Able to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
Clean driving record.
