Salary range: $60,000 - $75,000

What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”
- Under supervision, responsible for day-to-day operations, month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes for the inventory and cost accounting functions.
- Prepare and post journal entries. Understand technical accounting and provide sufficient documentation supporting entries.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and research variances for assigned accounts.
- Manage the maintenance and periodic updates of cost accounting records.
- Assist with periodic physical inventory.
- Assist with B/S and P&L variance analysis including variances against budget and prior periods, providing detailed insights and actionable recommendations to management
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and internal management reports.
- Use accounting standards and internal company policies to analyze and propose solutions for accounting issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support business operations.
- Assist with periodic audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university or college
- 1-2 years accounting related experience
- CPA or progression toward CPA
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Public accounting audit experience
- Experience working in cost accounting function within a manufacturing or construction company
- NetSuite or other large ERP experience
