We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team based in Dallas, TX. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality data pipelines and data analytics and visualization tools to support the company’s business decision-making and strategic planning.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with business teams to understand their data requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to support business decision-making and strategic planning.
- Identify trends and patterns in the business through data mining and analysis, and provide recommendations for business growth and efficiency improvements.
- Assist in defining best practices for data collection, pipeline and analytics development, and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor and maintain existing data pipelines, analytics and visualization tools, promptly addressing issues and providing support.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in data management and developing data pipelines with Airflow, Apache Spark, Flink and other data ETL tools strongly recommended.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis, with the ability to clean and process data.
- Proficiency in Python for data mining.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, able to effectively collaborate and coordinate with different departments and teams.
- Strong problem-solving and self-learning abilities, able to quickly adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Mandarin is strongly preferred.
Skills
- Python / SQL (Hive/Spark preferrable, MySQL, SqlServer) (1 year required)
- Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, vba optional) (3 years required)
- Data Visualization - Tableau / Power BI (1 year required)
- Database Management - modeling, etl processes (preferred, but not required)
- Cloud Platforms - Aliyun/Tencent Cloud (preferred, but not required)

Base pay for a successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is
$75,000 - $120,000. This role is also eligible to participate in our discretionary bonus plan.
