Summary:
As the VP of the Specialty Door department, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the door group. This role requires exceptional organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills. This position’s primary objective is to ensure that bids are logged, assigned, and accurately provided to customers in a timely manner. This position will also be responsible for compiling monthly reports on conversion rates, win/loss reasons, and revenue forecasts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following
Manage estimating team workload and maintain communication within the department on progress, successes, opportunities and changes.
Ensure compliance and any other relevant issues central to providing accurate and complete bids that meet the specifications of each project.
Overseeing the bid tracking process, managing bid follow-up activities, and utilizing analytics to enhance the organization's bidding strategies.
Maintain a centralized database of bid information, including bid results, client feedback, and competitor analyses.
Maintain detailed records of written or verbal communication with customers and vendors.
Provide development opportunities for employees to help them reach the next level in their career.
Regularly meet with your entire team to spark innovation, celebrate, and solve problems.
Assist in identification and evaluation of new methods and processes that could help improve overall department performance.
Help manage development of new products.

Education and /or Experience:
Four-year college degree from an accredited institution; MBA preferred
10+ years of supervisory/leadership experience
