This position will be responsible for the technical knowledge and engineering skills to design, implement, and manage security systems within the Global Physical Security (GPS) line of business, with specialized functional expertise in the area of physical security systems and technology. This position will be specifically responsible for the development of strategic programs & processes associated with the Americas region portfolio of security systems, technology, and strategic program management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT and Security System operational disciplines, process work-flows, resource and database management. This person must have the ability to operate successfully in a global landscape, with a focus on standardization and continual improvement of processes and long-term system support/upgrade cycles. The qualified candidate will report directly to the Region Sr. Manager.
Essential Functions
- Analyze an organization’s security needs and establish system requirements.
- Coordinate updates, outages, maintenance windows, and other potential service impacting activities could disrupt the availability of critical systems.
- Secure servers through the implementation of policies and procedures.
- Test systems for vulnerabilities and weak spots and suggest measures to improve stainability.
- Perform regular audits to ensure security practices are compliant.
- Oversee the configuration and deployment of physical security software and hardware on multiple platforms.
- Deploy appropriate backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions. Provide support and maintain an enterprise backup solution.
- Support the IT and System Administrators in resolving system issues.
- Provide general system administration, including management system monitoring, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Prepare and document standard system operating procedures and protocols.
- Draft comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement.
- Partner with internal Oracle partners to achieve objectives, develop innovative programs and leverage resources for program and service delivery.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 5 – 7 years of systems-based security experience.
- Strong understanding of industry specific legislations and compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of server application and database management.
- Virtual machine architecture, management, and deployment.
- Subject matter expert in all facets of security systems and technology, to include; OnGuard Lenel, Software House CCURE, Milestone Video Management, Genetec Video Management, Global Security Operation Center technology, IRISID, Alcatraz AI, and Key Management.

- The scope of responsibility will be regional in nature with oversight of all systems.
- Decision impact is high, and degree of direct supervision is minimal. This is a mid- level position with a high degree of responsibility.

- This position will ensure the seamless operation of the regional servers, computers, and technology. The focus lies on enhancing operations, optimizing efficiency, and delivering necessary technical and administration support. The role is pivotal for the overall success of the organization's security systems posture.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $95,000 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
