Client Solutions Project Manager is a dynamic, client-facing role that blends strategic account management, project execution, and estimation leadership in the physical security integration space. This individual serves as the owner of key customer relationships, and will lead quoting, procurement, planning, and execution of multiple high level commercial security systems projects; deploying teams who install, service, troubleshoot, and program security systems. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position for someone who thrives on solving operational challenges, driving efficiency, and delivering high-quality security solutions – from initial estimation and quoting through successful project execution.

Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and issues.
- Identify customer needs and lead scoping conversations to support ongoing installs, upgrades, or maintenance.
- Act as an internal advocate for customer priorities across departments.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships that drive retention and revenue.
- Manage accounts outside of project scopes to ensure continued involvement and process improvement.
- Ensure satisfaction with service quality, responsiveness, and system performance.
Project Estimation & Procurement
- Own the estimation process from initial scope development to quote approval.
- Review project plans, specifications, site conditions, and customer requirements to produce accurate, margin-conscious estimates.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Solutions teams to refine scopes and ensure alignment prior to customer proposals.
- Maintain and improve estimating tools, historical labor data, and rate cards to support quoting accuracy and speed.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Place and manage purchase orders to ensure timely procurement of equipment and materials.
- Track shipments and coordinate with the warehouse and field teams to ensure on-time delivery.
- Partner with vendors to negotiate pricing, validate availability, and resolve discrepancies.
- Align procurement strategy with project schedules to minimize delays and optimize cash flow.
Project Oversight & Execution
- Define and document project scopes, timelines, budgets, and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams and clients.
- Lead project planning sessions and internal kickoff meetings to align resources and expectations.
- Facilitate communication between field technicians, vendors, and clients to maintain visibility and momentum.
- Oversee scheduling, milestone tracking, change order management, and billing coordination.
- Monitor performance and financials against KPIs; identify and mitigate risks.
- Oversee all phases of project execution, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Manage subcontractors for out-of-town installs and services
Service Coordination
- Coordinate with service leadership to manage open service requests and maintenance needs.
- Oversee service completion, invoicing, and documentation in tools such as the Service Tracker.
- Support customer satisfaction by ensuring timely resolution of service issues
Technical Support
- Provide minor troubleshooting or programming assistance for security systems such as CCURE 9000, Genetec, or Brivo.
- Serve as a technical liaison between the customer and internal engineering or programming resources.
Continuous Improvement
- Champion process improvement initiatives across estimating, procurement, and delivery functions.
- Share best practices across accounts to drive consistency and reduce friction.
- Identify personal growth opportunities and contribute to a high-performance culture.
You've Got What It Takes If You Have...
- Experience in project management, estimating, or account management in construction, security integration, or a related technical field.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, scopes, and schedules.
- Strong understanding of physical security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion).
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Smartsheet) and Excel.
- Current driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screenings.
- Willingness to travel to job sites and accommodate flexible scheduling.
Compensation And Benefits
- Competitive Base Salary of $90,000 - $95,000 per year, plus up to a $7,000 bonus potential.

LOCATION
Toepfer Security is based in Waukesha, WI. Travel up to 2 hours to job sites in the surrounding area may be required (within the SE Region of WI). Additionally, there may be rare opportunities to travel out of the region to support customers and/or contractors across the country.
